Image Watermark

Add a text or logo watermark to photos — in a corner, centred or tiled across the picture — with size and opacity, one photo or a batch.

Protect your photos and show where they come from. The Image Watermark tool adds your name, website or copyright notice — or your logo — to pictures before you post them online, send them to clients or list them for sale. Put the watermark in any corner, along an edge or in the centre, or tile it diagonally across the whole picture so it can't simply be cropped off.

Set the size relative to the picture, so the watermark looks the same on small and large photos, choose its opacity and colour, and add a soft shadow so text stays readable on light and dark areas. Process a single photo or a whole batch with the same settings and download them as a ZIP. Each photo keeps its format. Everything runs in your browser — your photos are never uploaded.

How to use Image Watermark

  1. Choose Text or Logo image, then type your text or choose your logo (PNG with transparency works best).
  2. Set the size, the opacity and the position — or Tiled to cover the whole picture.
  3. Choose or drop the photos to watermark.
  4. Check the result with the compare view and download, one by one or as a ZIP.

Features

  • Text watermark with colour and optional shadow.
  • Logo watermark from PNG, WebP, SVG or JPG.
  • Nine positions or tiled diagonally across the picture.
  • Size relative to the photo; opacity from 10 to 100%.
  • Batch processing with ZIP download; formats kept.
  • Runs in your browser: no upload, no watermark of ours.

Choosing a watermark style

A watermark is a balance between protection and not spoiling the picture. Match the style to how much protection the image needs.

Visible brandingLogo in a corner, size 15–20%, opacity 80%Product photos, real estate listings

How the size works

The size is a percentage of the shorter side of each photo, so the same settings give the same look on a small phone photo and a large camera image. For text, it sets the letter height; for a logo, the logo width follows from it and its height keeps the logo's proportions. A small margin keeps corner watermarks off the edge. The tiled mode repeats the mark diagonally with spacing based on its size, covering the whole picture including the corners.

Tips for a good watermark

Use a PNG logo with a transparent background so only the logo itself appears. White text with a shadow reads well on most photos; dark text suits bright, plain backgrounds. Keep the opacity low enough that the picture still sells itself, but tile or centre the mark if people are likely to crop or edit it out. Keep your originals: a watermark is baked into the pixels of the copy and can't be removed again.

Formats and privacy

JPG photos are saved as high-quality JPG (quality 92), PNG stays PNG with its transparency, and WebP stays WebP; AVIF photos are saved as JPG. Each photo is checked by its content before processing, and very large images are refused before they could freeze the browser. The watermark is drawn on your device and nothing is uploaded or stored — your unpublished photos stay private.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a watermark to a photo?

Type your text or choose a logo, set position, size and opacity, then drop your photos and download the watermarked copies.

Can I watermark many photos at once?

Yes. Drop them all; they get the same watermark and can be downloaded as a ZIP.

Can I use my logo?

Yes. Choose Logo image and pick a PNG, WebP, SVG or JPG file. A transparent PNG works best.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The watermark is added in your browser.

Can a watermark be removed?

Not from the copy you download — it is part of the pixels. Tiled watermarks are the hardest to remove by editing.

Will my photos lose quality?

PNG stays lossless; JPG and WebP are saved at high quality (92).

Does it work on phones?

Yes, in current mobile browsers.
